Polyester foam belongs to the polyurethanes. It has specific physico/mechanical properties and is therefore widely used in technical applications.
The expected characteristics of polyester foam are created during the polymerization process. The resulting foam products have increased lamination potential (including flame and glue lamination) as well as excellent distribution, repeatability and cell size.
Polyester foam in various forms is mainly used in the automotive industry (conforming to the FMVSS 302 norm) and has a naturally higher resistance to heat, UV radiation, detergents and solvents etc. Our range includes polyester foam in form of slabs, sheets, profiles, rolls, laminates.
PUR Open-cell PUR foam in rolls up to 2400 mm wide and thickness ranging from 2 mm to 20 mm.
Polyester foam:
– for flame lamination in automotive industry (covers, roof lining, soundproofing, child seats and others)
Polyether foam
– for glue lamination in the footwear, clothing, underwear, furniture and medical industries and others.
– for quilting of materials for mattress and topper covers, upholstery and other fabrics.
